SPLIT: How an EXHAUSTO air handling unit can (almost) always be transported inside a building

Even small access allows great solutions

Technical rooms, etc. are rarely larger than strictly necessary and the access route can be tight. This applies to both newbuild and renovation.

Under these conditions, it can be worth ordering the VEX unit in a SPLIT version, meaning that the unit can be disassembled and transported into the building in smaller parts.

With a SPLIT solution, the unit is either delivered in parts or prepared for disassembly at the installation site. The unit is sealed acoording to instructions after assembling on site. To make sure the VEX unit functions correctly after transport and assembly, EXHAUSTO offers authorised personnel for re-assembling the unit.

The usual division of responsibilities is as follows:

  • EXHAUSTO's fitter disassembles the unit for internal transport
  • The contractor executes the internal transport
  • EXHAUSTO's fitter reassembles the unit at the assembly site.

To give us the best opportunities for tackling the task, we need information about space conditions, etc.
