What do the Ecodesign guidelines mean?
With the aim of reducing European energy consumption, the EU has laid down requirements for energy efficiency in energy consuming products, also known as the Ecodesign Directive (2009/125/EC).
The directive is implemented in ecodesign requirements for concrete products, e.g. thresholds and requirements for energy efficiency.
