THAV/THFV roof terminals

General

EXHAUSTO roof terminal THAV is for air exhausts and THFV is for outdoor air intakes.

The roof terminals are for use where an architecturally attractive and technically sound roof termination is required for duct systems. The roof terminals are easy to mount on different roofing constructions.

The low-noise design makes them particularly suitable for built-up areas with high environmental requirements.

THAV's vertical air exhaust prevents polluted exhaust air from being deposited over surrounding areas or soiling the roof surface.

Flashing
Without flashing Where roof terminals are supplied unpainted
PERFORM Standard black PERFORM
Grey and red are available as an accessories.
Zinc Used for mounting under roofing felt

PERFORM tolerates temperatures from -40 °C to 90 °C and is resistant to UV radiation.

THFV

THFV roof terminals are for outdoor air intakes with a round inlet, giving minimal pressure drop. THFV has an integrated bird net.

THFV

THAV

The THAV roof terminal is for vertical exhaust and has an integrated damper. A bird net is mounted on top to prevent unwanted objects entering the duct system.

Throw

THAV throw

The THAV roof terminal has an upward airflow with the throw indicated on the diagram. The throw is the distance from the top of the roof terminal to the point on the centre line where the speed has fallen to 2.0 m/s.

The vertical exhaust also directs noise upwards, thus limiting the sound level in surrounding areas.

Flue gas resistance

THAV/THFV flue gas resistance

If the duct system has smoke ventilation, e.g. in apartment buildings, flue gas resistance in the duct system must be calculated from the following diagram. The THFV roof terminal has a fixed flue gas resistance.

THAV has an integral stop plate for insertion for smoke ventilation.
