VIR - Diffuser

General

The EXHAUSTO VIR diffusor is used for supply air in ventilation systems which require both low sound levels and a directional airflow.

The VIR supply air diffuser can be mounted in any location. The diffuser is fitted with a rotatable valve disc, which makes it possible to set the air gap to the required capacity. The directional sector plate has 180° dispersion, which makes the diffuser especially suitable for mounting in a ceiling corner or on a wall. If the diffuser is to be mounted in the centre of a room, the sector plate should be removed.

The diffuser can be fitted directly to a spiro tube using the supplied bayonet mount. A foam rubber ring glued to the diffuser ensures air-tightness between fitting and bayonet mount. The VIR diffuser is made of white-lacquered steel sheet, RAL9003.

Throw and dispersion pattern

The throw and dispersion pattern with final speed L0.2 m/s.

The throw L0.2 is defined as the greatest distance from the centre of the fitting to isovel 0.2 m/s. The throw is indicated for ceiling mounting.
