Filter standard ISO 16890
On 1 July 2018, a new filter standard came into force. EXHAUSTO retains the old item numbers, but uses the new designations in item texts, etc.

New filter standard
The new filter standard contributes to filter efficiency and classification that is more in line with reality as well as the same standard across the world, creating less confusion.

How to determine filter class after 2018 standard
Test performed with 0.3-10 μm particles
Classification is based on results for particle sizes PM1, PM2.5 and PM10
The filter is discharged of static electricity during the test
Dust load with ISO “fine dust” to find pressure loss
Filter class | Requirements | Test category | ||
ePM1 | ePM2.5 | ePM10 | ||
ISO Coarse | - | - | ≤50% | Coarse filter |
