CAD models from EXselectPRO
CAD models from EXselectPRO for AutoCAD and Revit
Where to find the CAD models
The EXselectPRO calculation program can provide CAD models for all Exhausto’s modular and compact units. When a unit has been calculated in EXselectPRO, the model can be found in the export menu. The model version is specific to the calculated unit. If accessories such as dampers or duct-mounted heating and cooling coils have been selected, these are also included in the model.
The models can be imported in 3 ways:
- AutoCAD 3D models in DXF format
- MagiCAD plugin for AutoCAD
- MagiCAD plugin for Revit
1. AutoCAD 3D models for DXF format
How do you do that?
You can download models in DXF format for AutoCAD (or other programs that support the DXF format) directly in EXselectPRO’s Export menu.
Output:
Here a “simple” 3D geometry is delivered.
2. MagiCAD plugin for AutoCAD
How do you do that?
If you use AutoCAD with MagiCAD (MagiCAD is required), you can download the latest version of the installation manual “EXselectPRO MagiCAD plugin for AutoCAD” and the plugin from the MagiCAD website. After installation, you can download an advanced 3D model that has access to EXselectPRO’s calculations.
Output:
Once the plugin is installed, you can export a “.mah file” that can be loaded into your AutoCAD building model.
3. MagiCAD plugin for Revit
How do you do that?
With this plugin, it is unnecessary to have MagiCAD already installed. You can download the latest version of the installation manual “EXselectPRO MaciCAD plugin for Revit” and plugin from the MagiCAD website.
Output:
Once the plugin is installed, you can export a “.mah file” that can be loaded into your Revit building model.
