Eurovent certification with associated energy classes is a voluntary scheme

Energy efficiency class

The following technical parameters are included in the energy class calculation:

  • Design outdoor temperature
  • Temperature efficiency at balanced airflows
  • Pressure loss over heat recovery unit 
  • Air velocity through unit
  • “Absorbed Power Factor” calculated from the power consumption of the motors (corresponds approximately to SFP)
