The fight for a good indoor climate
A ventilation system is already a good weapon in the fight for a good, virus-free indoor climate. With correct and sufficient air exchange, the system helps to ensure that the air is exchanged so that viruses, particles and gases are reduced. In all systems with rotary heat exchangers, there is a risk that a small amount of contaminated air will be mixed with the clean air when the rotor ducts rotate from the contaminated air flow to the clean air flow. The leakage problem is exacerbated if there is overpressure in the contaminated air path.
The transfer of contaminated air must be completely prevented
This transfer of contaminated air can be prevented by using EXHAUSTO’s patented solution, ALC™* - Automatic Leakage Control for VEX200 and VEX4000.
ALC™ is a simple plug & play solution available for VEX200 and VEX4000 with rotory heat exchanger. The solution prevents leakage and thus prevents the spread of viruses, particles and gases via the ventilation system. With activation of ALC™ leakage is prevented by the VEX’s control system, regardless of the current operating situation.

How ALC works
A sensor measures the pressure difference between the extract air and supply air chambers in the VEX unit.
The control system in the unit regulates an extract air damper based on the pressure difference.
This ensures that there is always a lower pressure in the extract air chamber than in the supply air.
