FUNCTION AND APPLICATION

The SP module (empty section) can be used in the following cases:

• With rotary heat exchangers and other places where functions cannot be inspected from neighboring sections.
• As support for protruding, overhanging sections at the inlet and outlet in tall units.
• As an extension of an overlying section to prevent vertical piping close to the unit from obstructing door opening in a section.
• As preparation for later expansion of functions, or as space for sensors, thermometers, etc. Inspection rooms are equipped with doors.

The SPS module (empty section with smoke evacuation damper) is used for smoke evacuation via the connection at the top. A damper is installed in the connection that opens if there is a need for smoke evacuation from the duct system. The exhaust fan is thus used as a smoke fan, so there is no need for an additional smoke fan.
