FUNCTION AND APPLICATION

The SP module (empty section) can be used in the following cases:

• With rotary heat exchangers and other places where functions cannot be inspected from neighboring sections.

• As support for protruding, overhanging sections at the inlet and outlet in tall units.

• As an extension of an overlying section to prevent vertical piping close to the unit from obstructing door opening in a section.

• As preparation for later expansion of functions, or as space for sensors, thermometers, etc. Inspection rooms are equipped with doors.

  • The SPS module (empty section with smoke evacuation damper) is used for smoke evacuation via the connection at the top. A damper is installed in the connection that opens if there is a need for smoke evacuation from the duct system. The exhaust fan is thus used as a smoke fan, so there is no need for an additional smoke fan.
