Don't forget the indoor climate when starting a renovation project
Renovation of properties often involves replacing windows and insulating facades and lofts. This will seal the air into the building and eliminate previous gaps which provided "natural ventilation".
You might forget that ventilation of the property is now necessary, and leave it to the occupants to keep the dwellings aired.
The result will be a poor indoor climate, problems with mould growth and wet rot on windows, meaning that the building will need renovation again after maybe just 10 years.
For this reason you need to ensure there is still an adequate air change.
