A quieter environment at Abbey Hill

EXHAUSTO have the pleasure to be a partner and supplier to Abbey Hill School our range of compact and highly efficient air handling units for this challenging and exciting development.
Abbey Hill School and Performing Arts College supports up-to 220 young people with autism, speech, language and communication needs and moderate learning difficulties in Stoke-on-Trent, on-site and through outreach in mainstream schools.
Key features of the design include:
• New single-storey building with integrated provision to support students with autism
• Dedicated performing arts, indoor sports and dinning spaces
• Facilities to promote the development of the second specialism (SEN & Inclusion) through using modern technologies
EXHAUSTO played a key part in delivering an a clean, energy efficient indoor climate throughout the facilities by utilising our range of VEX330 compact ceiling mounted air handling units. By choosing EXHAUSTO ventilations solutions, Abbey Hill School are able to fulfil their unique, decentralised mounting needs as well as achieving a remarkably high, energy saving heat recovery throughout the building by utilising EXHAUSTOs counter flow technology.
Another factor important to a ceiling mounted unit local to the room is of course the noise levels. EXHAUSTO VEX330 Ceiling units have delivered a low breakout noise score allowing for a quieter environment which is ideal for a SEN (special needs) school.
