VEX1000RS and VEX1000RT - choose between 3 types of rotary exchangers
Rotary heat exchangers transfer heat and—depending on the rotor type—also moisture between exhaust air and supply air. The rotary exchanger is an obvious choice where high energy efficiency and the possibility of moisture recovery are desired.
Choice of rotor depends on the application area and requirements for energy efficiency, indoor climate, and moisture recovery.

Condensation rotor (Standard)
| An energy-efficient choice for most comfort ventilation systems. The rotor recovers heat with high efficiency and also contributes to moisture recovery in the winter period when conditions allow. |
Sorption rotor with moisture transfer | Recovers both heat and moisture year-round. It contributes to a more stable and comfortable indoor climate, reduces the risk of dry indoor air in winter, and can simultaneously lower cooling needs in the summer. |
Epoxy-coated condensation rotor | A corrosion-resistant solution for demanding environments. The epoxy-coated rotor is suitable for installations with aggressive media in the exhaust air or where there are special requirements for durability and operational reliability. |

Sensible counterflow heat exchanger (standard and high)
| An energy-efficient choice for comfort ventilation where high heat recovery without moisture transfer between exhaust air and outdoor air is desired. The separate air conduction ensures efficient heat recovery with complete separation of air streams. |
Enthalpy exchanger | Recovers both heat and part of the moisture in the exhaust air without mixing the air streams. It contributes to a more stable indoor climate, reduces the risk of dry indoor air in the winter period, and can simultaneously limit the need for humidification. It also limits the need for defrosting as condensation is less. |
Epoxy-coated counterflow heat exchanger | A corrosion-resistant solution for demanding environments. The epoxy-coated heat exchanger is suitable for installations with aggressive media in the exhaust air or where there are special requirements for durability and operational reliability. |
