Patented automatic leakage control (ALC™) prevents transfer of exhaust air to supply air through the rotor heat exchanger. Recirculation of airborne particles and gases are eliminated.

VEX4000 is a hygiene-certified unit in accordance with VDI 6022-1. All of the unit’s modules and parts are easily accessible for inspection and cleaning in order to prevent harmful bacteria or particles, and the unit has been certified by an independent laboratory (Synlab).

All sections consist of casings constructed according to the same basic principle with frame profiles and insulated panels. In general, great emphasis is placed everywhere on accessibility and ease of service.
The frame profiles are made of aluminium. This ensures both high strength and a high degree of corrosion resistance. The frames are assembled with insert corners and have softly rounded edges.
The panels are made of aluzinc and are insulated with 50 mm mineral wool, which ensures both good thermal insulation and good sound attenuation (external noise).
The side panels are attached to the frame profile with screws. End, top, and bottom panels are fixed internally with screws and then sealed.
CW and DX coils as well as IC/ICC cooling module are equipped with a drip tray and a removable droplet separator. The drip tray is positioned for easy cleaning.
The doors open 180° and provide easy access for inspection and service. The doors are tightly sealed and constructed according to the same principle as the panels, but fitted with sealing strips.

The hinges are adjustable and fitted to the rear edge of the doors for maximum mounting strength.
The units can be supplied in a special outdoor version with roof and weather-protective discharge grilles. They can also be equipped with intake boxes for air intake.

EXHAUSTO OFFERS THREE DELIVERY OPTIONS:
The units are supplied ready-assembled and Exhausto ensures that all modules are correctly connected and assembled on a base frame.
The modules are delivered separately, an advantage if they have to be transported inside the building. For this reason,VEX4000 has been specially designed for ease of assembly.
The unit is delivered as a SPLIT version, where the unit is delivered unassembled as a flat pack. This means that even large units can be transported through small doors and then assembled on site. The SPLIT solution is more expensive, since specially trained EXHAUSTO technicians are required.

EXcon is based on BUS technology, with multiple external communications facilities. All control can be performed from a central unit via the web server.
EXHAUSTO offers special solutions for areas which require specific control facilities, e.g. shops which need precise temperature control, special cooling control and humidified areas.

Module for VEX4050-4100 with counterflow heat exchanger. No odour and moisture transfer combined with high temperature efficiency.

With the rotating heat exchanger a temperature efficiency of up to 90% can be achieved. Furthermore humidity from exhaust can be transferred to supply air

The crossflow exchanger is suitable for kitchen or process ventilation, as the airflows are completely separated, which avoids transfer of contaminated air

The combined fan and filter module contains plenum fans with total efficiencies up to 70% as well as pre- and main filters in different classes

Integrated reversible heat pump for VEX4000, available with R454B, which reduces climate impact by 78%. Ventilation, heating and cooling in one AHU.

DX-coils are ideal cooling solution for airhandling units or external DX units, as they are filled with cooling refrigerant in order to be used as cooling coil.

Complete integrated DX cooling system with cooling coil in supply air and coil for excess heat dissipation in exhaust air.

Recirculation can be selected where a mix/reuse of extract air is present and in this way save energy.

The empty section is a module to complement the other modules - for support, extension, reserving space for future functions, and as a safeguard

The integrated acoustic damper module offers great flexibility with many placement options in the unit. The acoustic baffles can be easily removed and cleaned.
