Temperature efficiency

Temperature efficiency, VEX370H

The temperature efficiency and, to a lesser extent, the SFP/SEL values for a specific air handling unit are closely connected to the heat exchanger itself and depend upon the manufacturer. As suppliers can change from time to time, small changes in the technical data can occur, which is why it is always recommended that you perform a calculation for the particular project using our calculation software, EXselectPRO.

The curve is intended as a guideline, and it is recommended that a calculation be performed using the calculation software EXselectPRO for the individual project.

stiplet streg
Efficiency with condensation:
Extract air = 20°C/55 RH
Outdoor air  = -10°C/50 RH
Balance between supply air/extract air = 1,0
kort-lang-stiplet-streg
Efficiency without condensation with imbalance:
Extract air = 25°C/28 RH
Outdoor air = 5°C/50 RH
Balance between supply air/extract air  = 0,8
fed streg Efficiency without condensation in acc. with EN308:
Extract air = 25°C/28 RH
Outdoor air = 5°C/50 RH
Balance between supply air/extract air = 1,0

Calculation

The temperature efficiency of the VEX units is shown at different airflow ratios, calculated as:

t2,1 = Temperature of outdoor air (fresh air)
t2,2 = Temperature of supply air
t1,1 = Temperature of extract air

Condensation outlet

The condensation outlet (DN32) exits from the VEX unit on the front. EXHAUSTO offers a complete water trap and heating cables for the outlet as accessories. (The condensation pipe is not supplied by EXHAUSTO).

Split, VEX370

Split, VEX370H

VEX370 is supplied in sections, as shown below:

RD13536 VEX370 Split 1 Exp

Should the VEX370 have to be transported through openings that are too small for a complete unit, it can be ordered as a VEX370 modular split version. There are two split versions available:

SPLIT 1

The fan sections are supplied ready for operation but the heat exchanger section is not sealed and can be further split into two sections, so that all four sections can be transported through door openings of 90 x 200 cm

RD13537

SPLIT 2

For internal transport through smaller door openings. The whole unit is supplied not sealed and can be split into smaller sections so that it may be transported internally and then assembled on site by certified personnel.

When selecting SPLIT2 solution the unit can be taken apart and all parts will fit through openings down to 500x1300 mm.
